Reality check…behavior change does not happen overnight. In fact, behavior change takes some time but not forever. A research study found that the average person takes 66 days to change a health behavior.

66 days is the average. This means that  you may make the change sooner or a bit later.

How do you know when the habit is formed? You know when you no longer have to remind yourself. In short, if the behavior is automatic, it is a habit. If the behavior is effortless, it is a habit.

Sleep Tip #8: Don’t give up at least for 66 days when trying to change any health behavior including a sleep behavior.
