When I have to cross multiple time zones on a business or pleasure trip, I try to stay 1-2 days midway between my home and final destination. I do the same on my return trip home. Why? My body needs time to adjust. You can’t will your body to adjust. It takes time. The benefits for me are decreased sleepiness, increased energy, enhanced focus, and decreased irritability not to mention heightened performance.
