Pilots and flight crews know about jet lag. They also know about how to beat jet lag or at least minimize the effects of jet lag. Some of the tips include the following:
- Reduce your intake of caffeine and alcohol
- Increase your intake of water (even while flying)
- Exercise if you need to stay awake
- Set your schedule to the arrival clock if you are staying more than 3 days
