All too often, preparing for a big trip is a lot of hard work. Some people spend a couple of days without much sleep simply getting ready. There are things to do around the house like stopping the mail and things to do at work. All of this prep work may eat into your sleep even before you hop onto plane. Do not board the plane feeling exhausted and sleep deprived even before the plan takes off. Spread the work across a longer time period and delegate if you can and let go where you can.
