Savoring is a form of positive repetitive thought characterized by attendance to positive affective experiences.  Savoring has three categories:

  • Anticipating (something upbeat)
  • Savoring the moment
  • Reminiscing not ruminating

Psychological researchers are discovering that the more you savor, the better you sleep.
