Millions suffer from chronic pain. When pain hits, you worry about your ability to sleep. If you don’t sleep well, then you know you’re pain is often worse. What’s the solution? Talk off the pain. How? All of us engage in “self talk” which are conversations we have with ourselves in a healthy way not psychotic, crazy way. If you catch yourself saying, “I can’t sleep because of the pain,” then substitute this negative self talk with positive self talk like “I can deal with the pain and sleep well tonight.”
