Eyemasks work for many. Light interrupts out ability to fall asleep and stay asleep. Anything that blocks out the light will help you fall asleep and stay asleep. Darkness promotes sleep. Melatonin is the hormone which causes you to feel sleepy. Darkness triggers melatonin.Light inhibits melatonin.
