The best way to make changes in your sleep habits is to learn more about your current sleep behaviors. In your journal, keep track of the following sleep behaviors:
- Go to bed
- Fall asleep
- Wake up
- Get out of bed
- Take naps
- Drink alcohol
- Consume caffeine-containing beverages
Beside writing these behaviors in your journal, think about sharing these information with your health care provider if you are concerned about your sleep.
