7 Hours or More is the Magic Number!

Gamblers praise a “Lucky 7.” This is also the magic number for sleep. If you sleep less than 7 hours each night, then you are at higher risk of the following:

  • Obesity
  • High blood pressure
  • Diabetes
  • Heart disease
  • Frequent mental distress
  • Death

These risk factors are detailed in a CDC report about sleep.
